Jason Haynsworth grew up in Richardson and graduated from Berkner High School. After high school, Jason made the trek to Lubbock where he attended Texas Tech University and earned a degree in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate.
Jason returned to Dallas after graduating from Tech to accept the Dean’s Scholarship and study law at the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Before graduating from SMU, Jason was active in the school’s civil clinic where he offered free legal advice to small business owners.
After graduating from law school, Jason split his time between his law practice and real estate business before founding Haynsworth Realty with his wife, Liz.
In addition to his B.B.A. and J.D., Jason has earned the highest designation available to residential real estate practitioners – the GRI designation, which is awarded to less than 10% of real estate professionals that have demonstrated advanced and extensive knowledge of a broad range of real estate topics. Jason is also a member of the Real Estate Section of the State Bar of Texas, allowing him to stay on top on emerging issues that affect real estate transactions. He is also approved to hear disputes between property owners and appraisal districts through his role as an Arbitrator with the Texas Comptroller’s registry.
Throughout his years in real estate, Jason has encountered just about every situation that can arise during a real estate deal – these experiences make him well-equipped to represent his clients to the fullest under any circumstances.
Jason lives in East Dallas where he is involved in every facet of the community’s real estate, from buying and selling to representing investor clients. He and his wife enjoy renovating investment properties near White Rock Lake in their spare time. In addition to his residential real estate practice with Haynsworth Realty , he spends part of his time representing clients in commercial real estate transactions.
