The 2,200-acre Craig Ranch development has been working with the city of McKinney on luring more corporate real estate projects into the fold.
They have been working with developer KDC to attract businesses, and have just landed Traxxas LP – a remote control toy maker – to the area. Approximately 80% of the Craig Ranch residential land has already been developed into homes, and approximately 33% of the commercial land has been built on. As office space in nearby Plano and Frisco is gobbled up, Craig Ranch is hoping to continue the momentum and pick up additional businesses.
Craig Ranch began around 2000 when the first tracts were purchased for the master-planned community and is located just north of Highway 121 in McKinney.
